Our Brief History

Steven Jones' journey in the construction industry is a testament to hard work, perseverance, and a passion for excellence. At just 23 years old, Steven took on his first job running an asphalt plant, where he immersed himself in learning the paving and grading business from the ground up. Over the next 30 years, he dedicated himself to mastering every facet of the industry, gaining invaluable experience and honing his skills.

In February 2022, with three decades of experience under his belt, Steven founded Coastline Contracting. His vision was to build a company rooted in the principles he had upheld throughout his career—quality, integrity, and the pursuit of excellence. As a father of two and a devoted husband, Steven values family deeply and loves being on the coast. Under his leadership, Coastline Contracting has quickly made its mark, expanding rapidly throughout eastern North Carolina. The company’s growth reflects Coastline Contracting’s unwavering commitment to delivering top tier paving and grading services and Steven's belief in nurturing long-term relationships with both clients and employees.
